Bata

When looking at the research i have seen on the collaborative strategies so far i enjoyed looking at the different projects in Panama, i thought that some weren't collaborative exactly but could be looked at in a collaborative way. I particularly liked the gang film, as this integrated with the community quite a lot. I also really like the upholstered bins, but i didn't really see these as collaborative. The most collaborative one could have been the one with the band, as everyone was involved and equally participated in there own way.
The Bata-ville project was quite different to these as it looked at collaboration in a different. The collaboration was between the 2 artists, Nina Pope and Karen Guthrie, but also could have been between the people the took with them on the trip. The camera crew involved could have also been collaborating, and the Bata company which showed them around also. When looking at these projects and thinking about my collaborative work i would like do something which engages the public, like the upholstered bins but also like to work with people in a different collaborative way, maybe not sticking with the same person all the why through like Pope and Guthrie did.
