After spending a good portion of the morning getting ready for the presentation this afternoon imagine the consternation felt at being rushed to deliver it in five minutes with questions as well no wonder some of the points made by our peers were unclear to not just us but the tutors too. If 30% of our marks come from this important exercise then way do you have to rush it. As one person who finds talking in front of people hard being rushed as well double's the pressure. I know some would say well when you go for a job these are the pressures you will face well I'm sorry but at 47 years of age I have never been given only five minutes for any interview or presentation for any job I have been for.
After having my moan about this subject I would like to say that I found the presentations from the rest of the group very informative and there were some really good ideas for collaboration. I really liked Martin's idea he seems to have found a way of working with other people without actually working and being in contact with them which is something he finds difficult or doesn't like doing.
Shanna and Elise's idea is quite quirky and fun and I think that with a bit of thought it could be quite an eye opener for some people i.e. people who still live at home and mum does everything for you yes you all know who you are come on give your mum a hand.
