I am collaborating alongside Lauren Cooley from my course. As both of us are intending to design and make jewellery for this project we decided that it would be ideal for us to work together. The intentions for our project is to work with other professional jewellery designers outside of the college, learn from their experience as a jewellery designer/maker, which will help us produce our own jewellery. Once we have made the jewellery pieces we intend holding a jewellery fair selling our pieces alongside the other professional jewellery designers, or to collaborate with a fashion show and sell our jewellery there. But at the moment we are still looking for a location for out jewellery fair/ stall.
I intend to design a collection based on shapes of modern architecture and combine contemporary style with traditional materials and maybe explore the idea of rust on buildings and how this can shape and form onto jewellery, and how this can form onto the body.

They are interdisciplinary artists who interact closely with the community. The experiences are told through performances, exhibitions, public art and publications. One of there projects 'Four corners at the blur coat' Liverpool 2009 is a city wide regeneration programme bringing residents cultural organisations and neighbourhood services together. The question was asked 'What makes a neighbourhood' the artists worked with large spaces and different mediums and worked with other artists other than those part of Encounters.
